We had our engagement party on December 1, 2018 – Steampunk Style. Guests were limited to bridal party and family, but the wedding day (May 2019) will be doubled the amount.
A lot of people don’t know what steampunk is. I often tell them, “think H.G. Wells,” or “If Tim Burton’s imagination and an antique clock had a baby, it would be steampunk.”
Steampunk is a sub-genre of science fiction that incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by the 19th Century Industrial Steam-Powered Machinery.
